Although the basic idea of Gifture is similar to that of InstaGram’s, this app lets you directly upload photos to their streams after editing and filtering using Gifture. Editing images using Gifture is really fun, and amazing as well although very similar to InstaGram. The only uniqueness of this app is, it lets its user to stitch snapped photos into an animated photographic pleasure which is really amazing and worth trying.

The user can also playback the photos as in a slideshow and enjoy it with family and friends. One can also upload these photos directly onto their account, thus letting their friends and family’s Like the photos

The main features of the Gifture iOS app are outlined by the developers are:

Korean electronics giant Samsung held a special media event for the launch of Galaxy S III in London earlier yesterday. The new Galaxy S III looks very similar to Galaxy Nexus but it has a physical home button. Some might say it’s a copy of iPhone 4S.

It comes with a large 4.8″ high resolution AMOLED display. The heart of this new smartphone is the much-talked Exynos 4 Quad core processor. Samsung claims it to be the fastest smartphone ever.

Just like the iPhone 4S it also sports an 8 Megapixel auto focus camera although the presenter didn’t focus much on the camera. The internal memory is Samsung’s own 1GB chip which makes it more responsive.

The latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is the default OS to be shipped with this phone.

Samsung also introduced a “revolutionary” voice assistant called S Voice. Sounds like Apple’s Siri, huh? Anyhow, S Voice is a new “smart” voice assistant which is embedded with its Android OS.

16 GB and 32 GB version of Samsung Galaxy S III would be available right after the launch and a 64GB version would be available after sometime. alaxy S III would be available in UK 3 weeks from now.

What is Liquidmetal? Liquidmetal is combination of a number of desirable material features, including high tensile strength, excellent corrosion resistance, very high coefficient of restitution and excellent anti-wearing characteristics, thus would make the latest iPhone the best in the market. Liquidmetal was introduced for commercial applications in 2003. The closest example of liquidmetal is the SIM tray ejector used for iPhones.

It is used for, among other things, golf clubs, watches. This material if introduced would make the iPhone thinner and lighter, and it will also be more resistant to impact damage.

Apple Inc. acquired the rights to Liquidmetal Technologies’ “amorphous metal alloys” in August 2010, and soon after was looking to hire engineers to work with the material.

However, only Apple would know how far this is true, but Liquidmetal Technologies recently said it had begun shipping components to unnamed companies. The iPhone is rumored to debut in June during Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference.

Step 1: Launch Cydia and add the official repo to install SAM

Step 2: Launch SAMPref on your home screen

Step 3: Select ‘Utilities‘ and then ‘De-Activate iPhone‘. The device ActivationState should now read as ‘Unactivated‘.

Step 4: Choose ‘By Country and Carrier‘ in the Method options and then locate your carrier in this list. Some networks have more than one network ID, so you may have to select the ‘SIM ID‘ option.

Step 5: Tap ‘More Information‘ and write down or copy the IMSI that is present in the ‘SAM Details‘ section before tapping ‘Spoof Real SIM to SAM‘. Head back to the main SAM screen and change ‘Method‘ to manual and paste or enter the IMSI string.

Step 6: Connect iPhone to the computer. On iTunes summary page, double click the Phone Number section of the device details and make sure that the displayed ICCID matches that found on the SIM card. If it doesn’t, go back to step 4 and try again.

Step 7: If the strings match then unplug your iPhone and disable SAM. Re-connect to iTunes and you will see error message that says device cannot be activated. This is normal. Close iTunes and then open it again.

Step 8: Your iPhone should start connecting to your network now.

If you find that push notifications are not working, select the ‘Clear Push‘ option in SAM and then connect your iPhone to iTunes.

This new OS from Microsoft requires some minor paradigm shifts for most users as the user interface is more tailored for touch screen devices.

Everything also begins at the ‘Start’ screen. If you’ve seen or used a Windows Phone before, this might look familiar.

From the Start screen you can launch apps, switch between tasks, share content, and check notifications. The tiles show real-time updates of the things that you subscribe to such as news, sports, and what your friends are up to. You can check your schedule or get the latest weather forecast directly without the need to launch an app to see your next appointment or find out if you have any new email.

So, what else can you expect with this new OS? The most notable difference is the replacement of the Start button with what is called a “Start preview thumbnail”. It displays a preview of the start screen on top of an interface that allows you to cycle through all of your open applications. There’s also something new called “Flyout” notifications.

What kind of machine do you need to run it? Well, here’s Microsoft recommendation:

• 1 GHz or faster processor
• 1 GB RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

More and more schools in the US are using GlobalScholar’s Pinnacle electronic gradebook so it would be great if you can brand the gradebook with your school’s identity. The tutorial below is for Pinnacle Gradebook version 7.12 running on Windows Server 2008 R2.

1. First of all, you need to design or customize your own header logo file. The file parameters are:

• 466 x 50 pixels
• PNG format
• Compressed for easy loading, anything under 10kb is ideal

2. Once you have this file ready, name it to:

HeaderLogo.png

3. Login to your Pinnacle server and browse to the following location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GlobalScholar\Pinnacle 7.12\Web\Branding

4. Rename the old HeaderLogo file into something else.

5. Copy your own cuztomize header logo into the location above. Done!

If you refresh your browser, you should be able to see the new header logo.
